Mechanical Construction Project Manager
About The Position
University Mechanical is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager for our Anaheim, CA location. UMEC offers industry-leading building information modeling (BIM) capabilities, design/build services, sustainable solutions, commercial HVAC services, and complex mechanical and industrial system installations. This position will lead mechanical construction projects safely on time and within budget for various markets including Healthcare, Life Science, Commercial, Industrial and a wide range of other markets.
Requirements
- 5-7 years construction work-related experience and/or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Must prioritize in a fast paced, multi-task environment.
- Must have demonstrated ability to perform basic business mathematical functions.
- Must work with minimal supervision.
- Must effectively manage time and details.
- Must interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Must have organizational skills in handling & archiving technical data.
- Must comply with all operating policies, procedures, plans, and programs.
- Able to effectively operate the following computer software programs - Microsoft (Excel, Works, Project, Access, and Powerpoint), Bluebeam Revu PDF editing, Vista-Viewpoint (Project Management & Accounting Software), and Quotesoft Estimating Software.
