About The Position
The Mechanical Commodity Manager works in Strategic Procurement and is responsible for developing and implementing commodity strategies that deliver sustainable savings. The role negotiates prices, terms, and contracts with domestic and international suppliers; manages suppliers; conducts supply market studies and benchmarks; and aligns strategies with cross-functional partners. Some international travel may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Five years of related experience.
- Strategic procurement or sourcing experience.
- Negotiation experience with verifiable year-over-year savings.
- Understanding of supplier cost structures.
- Proven experience developing and implementing commodity strategies.
- Some international travel may be required.
