About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical / Automation Engineer to join an engineering team supporting manufacturing and automation-related projects. This opportunity is open to candidates at various early-career levels, including recent graduates and engineers with approximately 1–5 years of experience. Prior full-time professional engineering experience is not required for strong entry-level candidates. We are particularly interested in candidates who genuinely enjoy working with machinery, vehicles, robotics, automation, or other mechanical/electrical systems—not only professionally, but also through school projects, internships, personal projects, or hobbies. Candidates currently located outside the state are welcome to apply if they are willing to relocate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related STEM field
  • Candidates with approximately 1–5 years of engineering experience are also encouraged to apply
  • Strong interest in mechanical systems, machinery, robotics, vehicles, or automation
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing / factory environment
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Willingness to relocate if currently residing outside the area
  • English proficiency required

Nice To Haves

  • Internship, co-op, laboratory, manufacturing, or other hands-on engineering experience is a plus
  • Professional experience is not the only way to demonstrate your engineering ability. We welcome candidates who have developed hands-on technical skills through: Automotive repair, modification, or restoration projects, Robotics or automation projects, Building, repairing, or modifying machines and equipment, Engineering clubs or competitions, Personal electrical or mechanical projects, Internships or university projects involving hands-on work

Responsibilities

  • Support mechanical and automation-related engineering projects in a manufacturing environment
  • Assist with the installation, replacement, modification, and improvement of machinery and equipment
  • Disassemble and reassemble mechanical equipment as needed for upgrades or modifications
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues
  • Support equipment testing, commissioning, and process improvements
  • Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other team members on the manufacturing floor
  • Participate in hands-on engineering activities and technical problem-solving
  • Follow applicable safety and operational procedures
