About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Mechanical Assembler to join our team, helping to construct the systems we manufacture at our facility in Corcoran, MN. The work environment is primarily indoors within a climate-controlled environment, with occasional work at outdoor project sites in all seasons possible. We are a privately held, family-owned business with over a century of experience supporting mission-critical industries. Requirements

  • Basic power and hand tools experience necessary.
  • General knowledge of plumbing.
  • General knowledge of carpentry.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
  • Ability to climb up and down stairs and ladders
  • Ability to work standing all day
  • Ability to utilize full manual dexterity - bend & twist at waist & knees & reach overhead, along with sitting, squatting, bending, kneeling, lifting, walking, manipulating tools with limbs extended

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical knowledge is not a requirement, but is beneficial.
  • Work experience with a privately-held company will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Plumbing pumps, blowers, and other equipment, most commonly with PVC or galvanized pipe.
  • Constructing enclosures for housing equipment systems, most commonly wood-framed sheds.
  • Handle sub-assemblies and completed systems with forklift.
  • Assist with control panel wiring/assembly and electrical systems wiring.
  • Read and interpret drawings, and/or specifications
  • Use of machinery to build systems
  • Use of powered and basic hand tools
  • Follow all company safety rules and regulations
  • Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner at all times
  • Maintain an organized work area and equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Consistently be present and on time.
  • All other duties as assigned.
