About The Position

We're looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician who will assemble MTS hydro-mechanical subsystems.

Requirements

  • Two year certification from college or trade school or military training in an applicable discipline (mechanics, hydraulics, electronics) or Four years applicable experience in an applicable environment.
  • Ability to use hand tools, specialized tooling, and basic measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble hydro-mechanical subsystems according to engineering blueprints and specifications, bills of materials and manufacturing process documentation.
  • Meet standards for quality, efficiency, and schedule.
  • Interpret engineering documents to determine results and processes.
  • Troubleshoot and repair new and customer hydro-mechanical subsystems.
  • Disassemble and diagnose problems.
  • Develop solutions and resolve performance issues.
  • Collaborate to maintain accuracy of documents and records per MTS policies.
  • Initiate modifications and/or improvements to engineering and manufacturing documentation.
  • Participate in process and quality improvement activities.
  • Maintain and actively develop skills assembling & testing MTS products and industry technology.
