About The Position

The Mechanical Assembly Inspector will be responsible for performing a variety of inspection operations of mechanical parts and installations fabricated and/or assembled such as completed systems, assemblies, tools, jigs, fixtures, prototypes, training devices and detail parts on manufacturing prototype, production development and/or production programs. Perform inspections utilizing a variety of techniques, inspection equipment and instruments to include visual, layout methods and various conventional types of measurement devices. Must be willing and able to work either first or second shift.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on a team
• High school degree or equivalent
• Must be able to use computer programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
• Ability to use precision measurement tools (ie: Calipers, micrometers, etc)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Knowledge of machine parts, tooling section or mechanical assembly inspection
• Inspection experience
