About The Position

EMT International is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Assembler to join its team in Hobart, Wisconsin. The role assembles mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products while collaborating with production, engineering, and quality teams in a manufacturing environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use hand tools, drills, torque tools, and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in manufacturing or contract manufacturing.
• ERP/MRP experience with systems such as Epicor, SAP, or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
• Fit, align, and adjust components.
• Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with packaging, crating, and other production-related tasks as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
