Assemblers are responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies. This role requires the ability to read and comprehend instructions, follow established procedures, collect necessary materials and equipment, and report on any issues, malfunctions, or defective parts. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to precisely follow instructions from manuals, drawings, and schematics. Good communication skills, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a good physical condition are essential. The position demands punctual and dependable performance and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment. The role requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods and may involve bending, kneeling, and stooping. Previous experience in the metal manufacturing industry is preferred. The work environment may expose employees to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, oil, and chemicals.
