We boldly go. We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. This role is responsible for assembling a variety of components on an assembly line, contributing to the build of our reefer units. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, coachable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, instructions, and diagrams
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 40 lbs]
  • Coachable attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow

Nice To Haves

  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
  • Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all assemblies
  • Keep up with the pace of the assembly line to meet production efficiency goals
  • Meet daily production targets and deadlines
  • Inspect parts and completed assemblies for defects or inconsistencies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve processes
