About The Position

Bosch Rexroth is hiring an experienced Mechanical Assembler for its Charlotte, NC production facility. The role supports Industrial Automation (AT) production by handling and staging material within AT value stream sections, maintaining sequenced material flow, and assembling components into finished products. The assembler performs hands-on fitting and inspection, follows established methods and work instructions, and helps keep production areas supplied and organized.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Experience with accurate, sequenced material handling and staging.
Excellent math skills, problem-solving ability, and computer skills.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety rules, operating instructions, and drawings.
Ability to pass required assessments.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a larger goal.
Mechanical ability and ability to use hand tools.
Working knowledge of general dimensioning and tolerances.
Proficient use of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring equipment.
Ability to adhere to safety policies and work instructions.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
Familiarity with torque gauges.

Responsibilities

Handle material inside AT value stream sections.
Stage orders into vertical lifts.
Stage production orders according to production sequence and ensure material flow within AT value stream sections.
Refill sequenced kanban within AT value stream sections.
Proactively resolve production material issues and keep the production area supplied and organized.
Assemble components into finished Industrial Automation (AT) products.
Hand-fit parts and components.
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of components and finished goods.
Follow proven assembly methods, procedures, safety policies, and work instructions.
Read blueprints and use gauges and measuring equipment efficiently.
