Manufacturing Assembler Technician
About The Position
Selco Products, a family-owned company since 1958, is seeking a full-time Mechanical Assembler. We are an innovative manufacturing company offering a starting hourly rate of $18.50, opportunities for growth, an excellent benefits package, and a friendly, safe work environment. This role involves working with various components and tasks, including wire harness assembly, mechanical assembly, soldering, grinding, welding, epoxy potting, and packaging. Experience with automation systems or collaborative robots (cobots) is preferred. The position requires rotating through tasks to uphold product quality for global customers. This job description outlines the main responsibilities, but employees may be assigned additional duties.
Requirements
- All experience levels welcome—on-the-job training provided
- Prior assembly, soldering, or mechanical work is helpful
- Strong attention to detail and a positive team attitude
Nice To Haves
- PCBA assembly and basic electronic testing
- Experience with automation systems or collaborative robots (cobots) is preferred
Responsibilities
- Wire harness assembly and wire processing
- Mechanical assembly and crimping
- Soldering, grinding, and welding
- Epoxy potting and packaging
- PCBA assembly and basic electronic testing (a plus)
- Rotate through tasks as needed
