About The Position

We are hiring a Mechanical Assembler for our Houston, TX client. We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately! This role involves assembling and testing enclosed drive gearboxes and mechanical components. The ideal candidate will be able to read assembly blueprints, use calipers and measuring tools, record measurements and production information accurately, and troubleshoot assembly and testing issues. Maintaining a clean and safe work area while following all HSE procedures is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of mechanical assembly, industrial machinery assembly, or related manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to read assembly blueprints and have strong mechanical aptitude.
• Material handling experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Must be available for overtime and occasional weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience is preferred.
