Mechanical Assembler – 2nd shift
About The Position
This position is part of the Thick Films/Lids Group involved in wafer fabrication and related processing activities. The selected candidate will be responsible for manual tasks, operating semi and automated processing equipment, and performing rework. The role will include using microscopes, adhering to detailed written work instructions, and documenting non-conformances in our Factory Operating System (FOS). This position is also part of the Radiator/Circulator Operator team, focusing on manufacturing tasks related to radiator and circulator production. The candidate will work with production resources and teammates to meet production goals while ensuring the highest quality standards. The role will include using automated equipment, following detailed work instructions, and documenting non-conformances.
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing, microelectronics, aerospace, or defense industries
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Basic computer (MS Office) and math skills
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and adhere to quality standards
- Experience in manufacturing, microelectronics, or related fields
- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work with production resources to meet goals
- High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline
- Typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with microscopes
- Soldering experience to Military/ANSI/J standards
- Microelectronics or manufacturing industry experience
- Strong focus on safety and teamwork.
- Knowledge of 6 Sigma, Kaizen, or Lean Manufacturing
