About The Position
EMI Mills is seeking a mechanical assembler for a role in Grayslake, Illinois. The company has been a leader in the particle reduction equipment industry since 1979 and is a privately-held, expanding company. This role involves working on custom, high-value machines rather than repetitive production lines, within a collaborative team environment alongside experienced engineers and builders. The position operates on a single shift, Monday through Friday, with overtime opportunities available.
Requirements
- Mechanically oriented and experienced working with industrial equipment
- Ability to read/understand blueprints and bills of material
- Experience with hand and power tools to assemble equipment per specifications
- Self-motivated team player who can prioritize jobs
- Strong work ethic, reliable, constructive attitude
- Physical ability to lift 50lb
- Ability to work in a small company
