Requirements

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience with electronic products and components.
Experience with SAP and Microsoft office.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with computers, test equipment, label printers, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
High-level communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of assemblers and technicians.
Check work, products and paperwork for correctness and adherence to guidelines.
Provide mentorship and training to other operators.
Set up, assemble parts, and testing of parts.
Demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools.
Learn to accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.
Responsible for quality product standards with no defects.
Build parts that meet customer deadlines and expectations.
Participate in cost reduction plans, audits, and continuous improvement plans/events.
Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.
Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Check work methods and results for conformance to standards and re-instruct as required.
Report to supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.
Follows blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
Documents acceptance or failure results.
Meets internal and external customer deadlines as determined by team.
Follows plans for production schedules and quality requirements.
Proficiently uses computer tools such as SAP and accurately follows work instructions.
Demonstrates initiative to keep processes moving and on schedule.
Interfaces with other functional groups to update, inform, acknowledge or resolve problems related to business issues.
