About The Position

Siemens is hiring Mechanical Assemblers III for the LV/MV Assembly Integration team in its Electrification & Automation Business Unit. The role is based in Knightdale, North Carolina, and involves assembling mechanical components and related orders while following bills of materials, layouts, and assembly drawings. The stated shift is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The position is full-time and permanent.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related mechanical field.
At least 3 years of experience using standard hand and power tools, including pneumatic and battery-operated tools.
Knowledge of torque wrenches and applied torque values.
Experience using a tape measure and other measuring devices.
Ability to identify mechanical parts and electrical components.
Ability to occasionally lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs.
Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
SAP experience.
Salesforce experience.

Responsibilities

Assemble sub-assemblies, parts kits, and aftermarket parts orders, including mechanical assembly of steel components.
Record job transactions, read bills of materials, and follow layouts and assembly drawings.
Set and use torque wrenches correctly, adhere to developed processes, and seek ways to improve.
Adhere to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies and support continuous improvement.
Work as a team player.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
