About The Position

This role involves performing specific tasks once properly trained and/or certified, such as operating automated welding machines, automated wire stretching, stringing ceramics, and immersion testing. The position requires inspecting one's own work to ensure quality and conformity to standards, meeting productivity expectations to adhere to customer deadlines, and complying with all company rules and regulations, including Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics and Compliance, Quality, and attendance. The role also includes participating in cost reduction and continuous improvement plans, audits, acquiring necessary skills and certifications, maintaining a clean work area, and reporting work progress to supervisors. Additionally, employees will complete assigned tasks within their scope and skill level to support department objectives and develop individual skills, with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• HS Diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident/green card, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated welding machines, automated wire stretching, stringing ceramics, immersion testing, and other tasks as needed.
• Inspect own work performed to ensure a quality product which conforms to workmanship standards, engineering requirements and design specifications.
• Perform in accordance with productivity expectations to meet customer deadlines.
• Comply with all rules and regulations of Raytheon Technologies, including Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics and Compliance, Quality, and attendance requirements.
• Participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events, as required.
• Participate in audits.
• Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications and complete trainings as required.
• Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates.
• Complete assigned tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
