About The Position

The Assembler will assemble manufactured products according to specifications. This role is responsible for all custom brake assemblies and assembling various heavy machinery and fabricated metal products. The individual will read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation to build to specification, and use various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks. They will also check products to ensure quality and uniform completion, resolving any identified problems, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Relevant experience with heavy machinery assembly required.
• Adheres to all safety rules, guidelines, and codes.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Must have and be able to demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
• Previous experience operating hand tools required.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Detail-oriented, consistent workmanship.
• Thorough understanding of practices involved in the use of various types of heavy equipment.
• Thorough understanding of safety rules and ability to safely operate machinery.
• Superior skill operating assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
• Works well as a productive member of a team.
• Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
