About The Position

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Mechanical Assembler I for their A320 Neo program. This role involves assembling and testing critical components for advanced commercial aircraft. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for precision work, contributing to groundbreaking technology and high-quality product delivery.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 Year Experience In Mechanical Assembly Or Related Field
  • Ability To Interpret And Understand Technical Drawings And Instructions
  • Knowledge Of Basic Hand And Power Tools, Including Torque Wrenches And Pneumatic Tools
  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Production Environment
  • U.S. Person status required (lawful permanent resident, protected individual, U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or individual granted refugee or asylee status in the U.S.)

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test critical components for the A320 Neo program.
  • Follow detailed instructions and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly of parts.
  • Utilize mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during assembly.
  • Maintain a high level of precision and attention to detail while working on complex and intricate components.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery and tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of assemblies.
  • Keep accurate records of assembly processes and any issues encountered.
  • Continuously monitor and maintain the quality of assembled components.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any updates, issues, or concerns.
  • Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Adapt to changes in assembly processes and procedures as needed.
