About The Position

Perimeter Solutions Group (PSG) is looking for an experienced Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of diesel and gas-powered trucks, trailers, and equipment. Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Fleet Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
Hands-on experience performing preventative maintenance and repairs
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
Basic computer or tablet skills for maintenance documentation
DOT inspection certification or willingness to obtain certification
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Diesel truck and trailer repair
Small engine repair and maintenance
Welding, fabrication, or related mechanical skills
Experience maintaining commercial or construction fleet equipment

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, fleet vehicles, and equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, brake, tire, and hydraulic systems
Troubleshoot diesel and gas-powered vehicles and equipment
Inspect, service, and repair small-engine equipment
Perform DOT inspections and help maintain fleet compliance
Identify potential mechanical issues before they become costly breakdowns
Document completed repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment status
Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient shop environment
Monitor and maintain parts and inventory levels
Coordinate major repairs and specialty work with outside vendors when needed
Help ensure vehicles and equipment are ready for daily operations
