About The Position

This position involves assembling, disassembling, and repairing pumps, motors, and valves. The role requires diagnosing problems, identifying necessary parts for repair, and testing all items. Work will be performed in both shop and field environments. Requirements

High School Graduate or GED required.
Three years mechanic experience.
Hands on mechanical aptitude.
Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a task.
Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.
Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
Ability to make decisions while following company procedures.
Ability to keep management apprised of work and backlog.
Ability to use cranes, and other heavy and light machines, and equipment.

Nice To Haves

Hydraulic experience preferred

Responsibilities

Repairs pumps, motors, and valves.
Tears down pumps, motors, and valves for repair and identifies needed parts.
Builds new pumps, motors, and valves.
Assists in the machine shop as needed.
Tests completed pumps, motors, and valves according to written procedures.
Cleans, lubricates, and adjusts parts, equipment, and machinery.
Records parts and materials needed and requests new parts and materials as necessary.
Maintains a neat and orderly shop.
Aids in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and controls.
Maintains test stands and equipment in accordance with ISO procedures.
Knows, understands, and abides by environmental policies.
