About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on rental equipment in a safe and effective manner to minimize downtime. The fleet varies by location and primarily includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty locations may also include large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil and gas equipment. The role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of equipment and develop skills for a career track in service or operations management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• The role may require providing tools of the trade.

Nice To Haves

• Some trade school or equivalent training.
• Five or more years of technician experience with similar diesel or heavy equipment, or specialty-line equipment such as large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil and gas equipment.
