Requirements

Current, valid driver license
Ability to read and interpret measuring instruments

Responsibilities

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing mechanical maintenance activities to the equipment used to cast and form steel products, such as sheet, coil, I-beam, and billets.
Must be capable of reading and interpreting written work instructions, engineering specifications, and measuring instruments.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and analyzing wear and tear of machines.
Removes and replaces defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools.
Assembles and disassembles casting equipment at the customer site.
Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently to accomplish job results.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
