Requirements

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Knowledge of equipment repair and maintenance.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

• One to three (1 - 3) years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload machinery from trucks using forklifts, telehandlers, etc.
• Assist with repairs of different types of equipment to learn safe work habits and gain knowledge of machine repair, calibration, and adjustments.
• Perform simple repairs and preventive maintenance under supervision of the lead mechanic (e.g., changing batteries).
• Clean machines in preparation for estimation or repairs.
• Support other technicians in inspection and diagnosis of equipment issues.
• Work both indoors and outdoors (yard work and in shop environment).
