About The Position

As a BDT Mechanic, you will help keep our fleet of amphibious vehicles in top condition. As a Mechanic you may be asked to assist in fueling a Duck or take it to a gas station to be fueled. As an employee in a safety sensitive role, you will need to pass a pre-employment drug screening and be enrolled in the company’s random drug testing program.

Requirements

• 2 years of Mechanic experience
• Clean Driving Record
• GED or High School Diploma
• Must be able to read, write and comfortably speak English
• Ability to life 50-80Lbs. on a frequent basis

Responsibilities

• Conduct a nightly service of all Duck Boats after tours
• Regularly check mileage/hours on all Duck Boats as dictated
• Perform weekly maintenance checks
• Perform emergency repairs and troubleshoot when necessary
• Repair any potential problem discovered while performing any above duty
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance for all Duck Boats. This may include washing and cleaning the interior. It may also include rust, scrape or accident repair, painting of the vehicle and or vehicle lettering. As well as buffing and waxing all Duck Boats.
• Ensure your surrounding area is neat and clean
• Maintain and repair BDT Company owned vehicles
• During the off season, complete an overhaul of the Duck Boats
