As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing engine components. This role involves setting up and operating a variety of hand and power tools to perform operations such as blending, chasing threads, deburring, angle checking, coldworking metals, masking, and braze application. You will fit and assemble machined metal parts and sub-assemblies, complete check-in processes, identify the status of engine components, and determine if modifications or airworthiness directives are needed. Key tasks include assembling/disassembling engine components, recording measurements, preparing and cleaning parts, balancing, inspecting parts for repair or replacement, routing repairable parts, ordering necessary parts, and ensuring all parts are ready for assembly. The position also requires performing final release checks for product compliance, using manuals and technical specifications to determine proper operating conditions, identifying product discrepancies, and verifying part conformance to technical data.
