About The Position

Our Mechanics are essential part of assuring that all vehicles and the equipment that transport our products are delivered safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL A)
• Minimum of 3 years of Fleet Maintenance experience
• Mechanical skills associated with Auto and Truck fleet maintenance required
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation and environmental regulations required
• Personal hand tools required to perform repairs on Class 7 and Class 8 vehicles
• Ability to obtain Massachusetts State Commercial Inspection License
• Ability to perform physical duties of the job
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekend as required

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on delivery, service, and promotional vehicles (i.e.: Waymatics)
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company-mandated safety policies
• Comply with and reinforce safe working practices with vehicles and in service garage
• Perform on-demand maintenance (unscheduled repairs) for employees driving company vehicles.
• Conduct road service calls to make repairs in field
