About The Position

The Mechanic diagnoses and performs a range of automotive repairs and maintenance, including brake, suspension, steering, alignment, tire, under-hood component, battery, and preventative maintenance work. The role also helps keep the shop organized, stocked, and safe. The position offers opportunities to grow into Diagnostic Mechanic, Service Advisor, or Management roles.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of professional mechanical experience.
• Skill in brakes, suspension, steering, and alignments.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Detail-oriented and team-driven.
• Open availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform brake jobs, including disc and drum brakes and lathe work.
• Handle suspension repairs, including struts, shocks, and control arms.
• Perform alignments and steering system repairs.
• Replace under-hood components, including water pumps, alternators, radiators, belts, and hoses.
• Mount, dismount, and balance tires.
• Perform oil changes and preventative maintenance.
• Test and install batteries.
• Keep the shop organized, stocked, and safe.
