About The Position
Perform maintenance and repairs on shop and service equipment, buses, trucks, and snow cats. Ensure the work area is kept clean and organized. Assist colleagues with technical tasks as needed and provide guidance to mechanic helpers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to maintain the physical requirements of the job
- 5+ years mechanic shop experience with references
- Must have diesel and gas engine experience
- Line experience preferred
- Must have proven record of dependability
- Mescalero Apache Tribal preference
- Bicultural experience preferred
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Pass a pre-employment criminal background investigation
- Must have basic standard and metric tools
