About The Position
FieldBridge is looking for a Mechanic in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, to work for the world's largest oilfield service company. This role focuses on industrial OEM mechanical equipment such as trucks and units, ensuring assets are maintained on schedule and in line with reliability-centered maintenance standards. The position is at a major operator's drilling support base.
Requirements
- Experience maintaining industrial OEM mechanical equipment (trucks, units, heavy equipment)
- Familiarity with CMMS or similar maintenance tracking systems
- Ability to work a 3x3 rotational field schedule in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable working onshore in a field/industrial environment
- Must reside in Alaska
Responsibilities
- Maintain assigned surface equipment per the maintenance program and reliability-centered maintenance strategy
- Record work orders, parts usage, labor, and equipment history in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce equipment downtime and improve turnaround time
- Participate in failure investigations as assigned
- Contribute to cost-of-service-delivery initiatives, including planned repair and reuse of parts
