About The Position

Leppo Rents is hiring Technicians/Mechanics of all experience levels for their Tallahassee location. They are looking for individuals who can perform repairs and servicing on compact construction equipment, such as skid steers, mini excavators, and telehandlers. The role requires a customer-first mindset, the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues quickly, and a collaborative team spirit. Requirements

• Hands-on experience repairing and servicing equipment — skid steers, mini excavators, telehandlers, and more preferred
• The ability to troubleshoot fast, diagnose accurately, and get machines back to work
• A customer-first mindset — our technicians represent Leppo in every interaction
• A team player who steps up and keeps the shop moving

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on compact construction equipment — mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
• Handle routine maintenance to keep the rental fleet ready to work
• Use computer-based diagnostic tools to troubleshoot efficiently
• Keep accurate repair and maintenance records and manage work orders
• Mentor and collaborate with teammates across Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental
