About The Position

Perform various tasks to maintain vehicle functional condition. This role involves inspecting and testing equipment, completing preventative maintenance, repairing engine failures, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, replacing parts, and verifying vehicle capability through test drives. The mechanic will also maintain equipment records, possess basic knowledge of parts and ordering, and advance their career through continuous learning. Additionally, maintaining vehicle appearance, ensuring a safe and organized work area, and adhering to safety policies are key aspects of this position. The role may require travel to satellite sites within a 10-mile radius.

Requirements

Must possess a valid TWIC card
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
2+ years automotive or equipment mechanic experience OR Technical School diploma

Responsibilities

Inspecting and testing equipment
Complete preventative maintenance, such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire changes, replacing filters, etc.
