This role involves working with various equipment in a 24/5 production environment.

Requirements

Vocational or Technical school diploma/certificate
5+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing
Working knowledge of liquid filling and metering systems, conveyors, and 120v and 480v equipment
Familiarity with Maintenance Connect
Job requires walking, climbing, lifting 50 lbs, prolonged standing, and use of applicable safety equipment.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Prefer experience in high-speed manufacturing such as consumer products or food and beverage.

Responsibilities

Working as a mechanic on packaging equipment in a manufacturing plant, including fillers, cappers, labelers, case packers, date coders, and palletizers.
Working with automated controls such as photo eyes, limit switches, pneumatic solenoids and cylinders, and Panel View parameters.
Performing troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and routine adjustments.
Working on rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, motors, drives, and conveyors, involving disassembly, replacing worn parts, gaskets, and/or packing, and alignments.
Utilizing PLC knowledge and familiarity with Allen Bradley and Siemens.
Performing facility maintenance tasks related to boilers, water systems, compressed air, lighting, exhaust fans, and make-up air units.
Performing other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline.
