About The Position
This role involves performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of trucks and heavy equipment. The mechanic will conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and identify mechanical issues. Accurate record-keeping and ensuring equipment meets safety standards are key aspects of the job. The position also includes assisting with parts ordering and maintaining an organized shop.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 years of experience as a mechanic
- Ability to work 50 hours/week and occasional overtime
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Strong knowledge of both truck and equipment repair
- Possess or willing to obtain a CDL and PA Inspection License
