Mechanic
About The Position
This is an excellent opportunity to be a key player at our Latham, New York facility where we manufacture magnets for MRI machines. Your role: Operate and maintain handheld and bench-mounted power tools (e.g., drills, riveters, torque drivers, grinders) to accurately fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical components for MRI systems while following safety and ESD protocols. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to interpret technical drawings, perform precise assemblies, and document tool usage and maintenance to ensure compliance with medical-device manufacturing standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with light industrial or home improvement work.
- Experience with soldering, wiring, fabrication or in a general warehouse setting.
- Must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Production/Assembler position.
