About The Position

To provide repair, preventative maintenance, installation and other miscellaneous services to hospital utility, structure, and non-medical hospital equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 5 years of experience
• Ability to read schematic drawings that are necessary for certain work.
• Ability to be self directed and ability to prioritize task.

Nice To Haves

• Trade courses or experience preferred.
• Welding / Brazing preferred.
• Certification in HAZ Mat preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain various components and systems such as electric lighting, heating, cooling, casework, windows, doors and plumbing and kitchen equipment.
• Troubleshoot and analyze problems with Beds, and other systems such as sky-light TV and Trans-logic tube systems.
• Assist in training other personnel, practice safety, maintain tools and equipment as appropriate
• Coordinate repairs and furniture moves also manage PM’s assignments
• Answer service calls and input and complete work orders in the POM’s work order System.
• Perform duties as assigned
