About The Position

Chop Tree Service and Procare Landscape are expanding their fleet maintenance department to keep pace with their rapidly growing fleet. They have openings for entry-level through master-level shop and/or mobile technicians to help repair and maintain a diverse fleet of equipment including medium-duty bucket trucks, wood chippers, stump grinders, side trimmers, skid steers, mulching mowers, snow removal equipment, salters, and light-duty trucks. The company provides shop tools, and technicians supply their hand/power tools and toolbox. These positions require the ability to work some evenings and/or weekends as needed, with flexibility in scheduling being a possibility. The company emphasizes a strong maintenance culture where technicians are key contributors to repair and operational decisions, aiming to perform all cost-effective repairs in-house. Technicians work on most of the company's equipment, with opportunities for knowledge sharing and learning from colleagues.

Requirements

Ability to work some evenings and/or weekends as needed.
Technicians supply their hand/power tools and toolbox.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain a fleet of medium-duty bucket trucks, wood chippers, stump grinders, side trimmers, skid steers, mulching mowers, snow removal equipment, salters, and light-duty trucks.
Perform shop and/or field repairs.
Contribute to repair and daily operation decisions.
Perform in-house repairs within cost-effective capabilities.
