Requirements

Nice To Haves

ASE Certifications are a plus.
CDL Class A or B is preferred.
Two years verifiable experience is preferable for entry level position.

Responsibilities

Follow all health, safely, and environmental requirements
Perform cleanup duties
Perform material handling and storage duties
Identify, use, and care of common hand and power tools
Use and care of craft specific tools and equipment
Knowledge and application of craft related mathematics
Knowledge and use of safety standards and best safety practices relevant to rigging, Inspection of rigging equipment and hardware
Knowledge and application of common hitches, Emergency stop signal, Basic crane hand signals, Knot tying (bowline & clove hitch), and use of rigging equipment relevant to craft specific tasks
Requires experience in full life cycle maintenance and repair of heavy civil construction equipment such as dozers, excavators, concrete and asphalt pavers, loaders, truck tractors, and other construction vehicles & equipment, as well as both light and heavy duty gasoline and diesel powered construction trucks/vehicles.
Requires knowledge of and experience with construction equipment, performing diverse repair tasks, to include repair and/or overhaul of engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, fuel, and brake systems, etc.
Experience in maintaining fleet vehicles and service trucks to include fuel/service/oil/lube trucks.
Ability to diagnose and repair various types of equipment failures.
Experience in operating various types of construction equipment.
Resolves and repairs equipment failures and mechanical issues as required/directed.
Operates and safely uses diesel engines, hydraulics & pneumatic operating equipment.
Two years verifiable experience is preferable for entry level position.
Required valid Driver License
CDL Class A or B is preferred.
May oversee repairs completed by other mechanics.
Examine, troubleshoot, restore, and maintain heavy construction equipment, fleet light duty vehicles, and heavy trucks and trailers, maintain construction machinery, maintenance inspections, assemble/disassemble/reassemble mechanical components according to their respective specifications, and perform general repairs.
