The position involves maintaining, repairing, and servicing all plant equipment, buildings, and furnishings in a safe and efficient manner, and supporting continuous plant operations by troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues as they arise.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required.
Must successfully complete an OSHA respirator fit test and obtain fork truck certification at the time of hire.
Basic computer skills (email, Excel) required.
Minimum of three years of industrial maintenance experience, including electrical power and controls, plumbing/pipefitting, rotating equipment, valves, and pumps.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including chillers, boilers, and air compressors.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical activities such as walking, sitting, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling, and reaching overhead.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with production technicians on equipment or production issues.
Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision, manage time well, and prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency.

Nice To Haves

Technical school diploma, certificate, or skilled‑trade license preferred.
Experience with welding, utilities, and instrumentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment and components.
Work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating urgency, ownership, and teamwork, especially when covering for vacations or absences.
Perform daily plant walkthroughs to identify equipment issues or safety concerns; monitor critical systems such as cooling towers, mills, chillers, air compressors, and boilers.
Conduct routine maintenance, including meter readings and preventive maintenance tasks, to keep equipment operating at peak performance.
Perform preventive maintenance activities such as inspections, lubrication, filter changes, and cleaning according to scheduled requirements
