The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of processing equipment such as conveyors, blowers, sifters, burners, grinders, conventional & high-speed encapsulation equipment, vacuum & hydraulic pumps, air compressors, fluid bed dryers, coating machines, granulators, and tablet compression machines. The role is structured into three levels: Level 1 focuses on routine maintenance, cleaning, basic troubleshooting, and minor repairs under supervision, ideal for those new to manufacturing maintenance. Level 2 requires the ability to independently perform equipment maintenance, moderate troubleshooting, and lead smaller repairs, working with moderate supervision and exercising independent judgment. Level 3 involves highly skilled professionals leading complex repairs, system diagnostics, and project-based work, serving as subject matter experts with minimal to no supervision, and collaborating with the engineering team on process improvements.
