About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic - Level 2 to join their team. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of equipment, including Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and potentially large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment. The position offers opportunities to build skills on diverse equipment, develop a career track in service or operations management, and work in a safety-focused environment. Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.
Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills.
Advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills.
Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
May need to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade.

Nice To Haves

Some trade school or equivalent training desired.
Similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) experience strongly preferred.
