Visit www.usadebusk.com for more information. We are seeking experienced diesel mechanics to perform service work on our medium and heavy-duty equipment, at our Deer Park facility. The brands of equipment in use are: Guzzlers, Keith Hubber, LEDWELL, NLB pumps, Alkota pumps, Kenworth, Peterbilt & Freightliner The types of equipment in use are but not limited to the following.  Air movers  Vacuum trucks  Hydro-excavators  Roll-off trucks  Chemical circulators  Hydro-blasters and pressure washers  Hydro-blaster shell sides, and X-guns 10K, 20K.  Gooseneck and bumper pull trailers  Pickups F-250 to F-550 The USA DeBusk Industrial Maintenance Shop is looking for 2 mechanics to perform repairs on equipment to pass DOT/FMCSA inspections. Experience with some of the above-mentioned equipment will be very helpful. There are 2 ways to qualify for inspectors: You have your own certification card for DOT/FMCSA Inspector. Or qualify by 1 or more of the following means, they are as follows. 1. 1 year experience working in a truck manufacturing – sponsored training program. Will need name and dates. 2. _____ years as a mechanic / inspector in a motor carrier maintenance program. Will need name and dates. 1. _____ years’ experience as a mechanic / inspector in a truck maintenance program at a commercial shop, fleet leasing company. 2.  Will need name and dates. 3. _____ years’ experience as a commercial vehicle Inspector for a State provincial, or Federal Government. Will need name and dates.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic.
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation, a valid license, with a clean record.
  • Must be able to pass a random drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • CDL Class A & B is highly preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive PMs on all our equipment. Oil, filters, greasing.
  • Must be able to work on 12- and 24-volt electrical systems.
  • Perform trouble shooting and use of diagnostic computer on Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit, engines.
  • Need to have current knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
  • I need to have current knowledge of drivetrains, transmissions, transfer cases, rear ends.
  • I need to have current knowledge of air brakes, hydraulic brakes, air valves, and related components.
  • I need to have a current knowledge of hydraulic component systems to properly trouble shoot, PTO’s, hydraulic lines, DCV’s etc.
  • Hydro blasting trouble shooting, being able to diagnosis issue with pump on 10K, 20K, 40K units.
  • Other tasks to be assigned by the Supervisor.
