About The Position

This is a remote/ rotational position, working two weeks on and two weeks off, in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided.

Job Purpose:
The Heavy-Duty Field Oiler position is responsible for oiling and lubricating trucks, heavy equipment, non-mobile equipment, and operating equipment requiring a Class A CDL.

Requirements

• Two (2) years as a mechanic or oiler in heavy construction or a preventive maintenance shop.
• Class A CDL.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to be covered by Worley's auto insurer.
• North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC). Worley can provide NSTC certification training if needed.

• Petrochemical, oilfield, or arctic experience

Responsibilities

• Verify and perform any necessary preventive maintenance on all heavy and non-mobile equipment and/or light duty vehicles.
• Checks and maintains all levels of oils, greases, and other lubricants in heavy and non-mobile equipment and/or light duty vehicles according to specified procedures and oral instructions.
• Inspect equipment belts, hoses, and leaks.
• Document any necessary maintenance.
• Coordinates repairs needed with shop foreman and will make minor repairs/adjustments.
• Routinely operate Worley/client vehicles/ equipment.
• Safely climb ladders of various heights.
