About The Position

Primarily responsible for ensuring that assigned section has the material and equipment necessary for them to perform their tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Ability to read and follow documented instructions in English or Spanish.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong ability to work accurately from verbal and written instructions and procedures.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness

• Related experience in a manufacturing setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares Items for Processing by reviewing and verifying invoices / paperwork to validate what material and equipment is needed; preparing labels as necessary; and ensuring assigned equipment is in good working condition.
• Material Handling by operating assigned equipment in accordance with established procedures; moving items to/from storage to/from areas where it will be processed; using knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems and reports other problems to supervisor; conserving resources by using equipment and supplies to complete tasks without waste; and cleaning area after operations and places discarded material designated areas.
• Ensures Quality by conducting multiple spot checks during the workday to ensure products meet established standards; and maintaining a log of items identified as out of tolerance with established standards.
• Ensures Safety by maintaining a clean and organized work environment, follows safety policies and procedures, and reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor.
