Perform routine equipment and facility repairs and service while complying with regulatory requirements and company standards. This role is responsible for minimizing production downtime due to mechanical reasons through quick response, conducting preventative maintenance inspections and procedures, and developing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills. The Mechanic II will utilize a variety of hand and portable tools, assist in running services to new or relocated equipment, and perform carpentry work as needed. They will also learn packaging equipment setup and changeover, including fine-tuning and necessary adjustments. Compliance with company policies, safety manual, and GMP booklet is required, along with following lockout/tag out safety procedures and using personal protective equipment. Overtime may be required during peak season or based on company needs. All employees are responsible for upholding the company's Food Safety and Quality Policy, including participation in all required training.
