Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of mechanical assembly or heavy equipment experience
Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills
Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic schematics, and electrical diagrams
Experience with hydraulic, electrical, gas, and diesel systems
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

Technical certification or Associate Degree in Automotive, Diesel, or Heavy Equipment Repair
Previous experience assembling heavy equipment or industrial machinery

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical components using engineering drawings, build sheets, and Bills of Materials
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, gas, and diesel systems
Perform final assembly, including wiring, lighting, decals, hoods, and customer-specific configurations
Install and route hydraulic lines, fill systems, and prepare equipment for testing
Read blueprints, hydraulic schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate assembly
Test completed equipment to verify quality and performance
Make assembly improvements and communicate process changes with production leadership
Mentor and train Mechanic Assembler I team members
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
