About The Position

The Mechanic I provides basic and advanced mechanical support for machinery used in corporate production, assisting with teardown, cleaning, repair, and rebuilding. The role also involves preparing machinery and components for reassembly and shipment. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have basic English reading and writing skills.

Requirements

• Experience with small machine repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Check in and inspect equipment returned for service.
• Disassemble equipment, separate components, maintain repair and discrepancy logs, and clean components.
• Perform basic machine repairs, including inspecting and repairing wiring harnesses and threads on attachment points, and preparing machines for reassembly.
• Build or rebuild components and set them to specifications.
• Assist with preparing and palletizing machinery for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist or mentor entry-level mechanics when asked.
• Comply with safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and required procedures.
