Requirements

High School Diploma, or equivalent.
A valid driver’s license.
Knowledge of vehicle and equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics.
Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures.
Ability to do tune-ups, brake jobs (hydraulic), and basic wiring.
Basic diesel and drive train experience.
Ability to use a cutting torch and basic welding skills.
Knowledge of minor heavy equipment repairs.
Good verbal communication skills.
Precise hand-eye coordination.
Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less, with the ability to judge distance and space relationships.

Responsibilities

Inspect and repair company equipment, such as pickup trucks, line trucks, trailers, mini excavators, backhoes, compressors, and generators, in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
Perform road tests and operational checks of vehicles and equipment to ensure the quality of repairs and service.
Place orders for required parts, materials, and supplies, as required.
Prepare and maintain records and reports.
Monitor prioritized projects, activities, and assignments to ensure the completion of deadlines.
Maintain tools, supplies, and workstations in a clean, safe and presentable manner.
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
