Requirements

High school graduate, GED or equivalent
1 year of practical experience
Valid Texas CDL class C driver's license with the ability to obtain a Class A Texas CDL within a year
Obtain within 6 months of employment: Texas Department of Public Safety Inspector

Nice To Haves

Technical certifications from the National Institute for Automotive Services Excellence (ASE) are preferred, or have the ability to obtain basic ASE certification criteria.

Responsibilities

Performing maintenance, minor repairs to heavy and light trucks, construction equipment, automobiles, and similar equipment
Operating a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
Performing related duties as assigned
