The role of Facilities Maintenance Technician is a vital support position for the Facilities Manager. Responsibilities include assisting with property maintenance and occasionally running parts and/or materials from vendors to job sites or back to the warehouse. This role requires a versatile individual ready to contribute in any way to various tasks.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.
Ability to meet medium-level physical exertion requirements, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
Capability to follow oral and/or written instructions.
Reliability, punctuality, and safety-mindedness with a strong work ethic.
Team-oriented and willing to work extended hours when necessary.
Positive, helpful demeanor, and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
No lifting restrictions and no fear of heights.
Tolerance for high and low-temperature levels and occasional inclement driving conditions.
Honesty about skills and capabilities.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check, with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Capability to use hand and power tools (preferred)
Capability to read and use a tape measure (preferred)

Responsibilities

Contribute to property maintenance & upkeep, including trash disposal
Operate a ride-on mower and weed eater for varying durations, particularly on mowing days and in challenging weather conditions.
Watering of lawns and flowerbeds
Organizing recyclable materials
Minor repairs to property for upkeep. (woodwork, drywall, masonry, etc.)
Make part runs to collect materials/parts from vendors for delivery to technicians or back to the warehouse. (as needed)
